Welcome to the Diocese of Las Cruces Office of Liturgical Education, Art & Environment & RCIA webpage!

The main task of the Office is to assist and support our Bishop in his role as the chief liturgist of the diocese by coordinating diocesan liturgical celebrations and providing the parishes and ministers of the diocese with liturgical resources and training opportunities and materials. The Office consults with parishes planning or engaged in worship space renovation or building projects.

The Director of the Office represents the diocese as a board member of Region 13 of the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions and the Southwest Liturgical Conference at their annual meetings.

The Office provides information and formation for all those involved in the process of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), including those journeying with unbaptized children of catechetical age,
and also for those preparing adults for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
