Medical coverage is provide by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and is available to Diocesan employees who are scheduled to regularly work 30-hours or more. Two options are available, each with its own advantages.

EPO – Under this plan employees notice a savings in premium in exchange for a slightly higher annual deductible and in-network coverage only. Typically an employee who chooses this plan is looking for catastrophic coverage but still enjoys low co-pays and broad coverage.

PPO – Under this plan employees encounter a higher premium in exchange for less out-of-pocket expense and both in and out of network providers. Employees who choose this plan tend to visit the doctors office more frequently and travel.
