The Diocese of Las Cruces, in response to providing hospitality to refugees, who are being released from Customs and Border Protection and or Immigration and Customs Enforcement into Southern New Mexico communities in order to transition to family living in the United States, works closely with Catholic churches in the area who provide basic Christian hospitality to families as they transition to family living in the United States. Hospitality consists of lodging, showers, clothing, meals, travel arrangement assistance, and transportation to bus station/air ports.

- St. Anthony Catholic Church, Anthony, NM
- St. Thomas More, Chaparral, NM
- Basillica of San Albino, Mesilla, NM
- Our Lady of Purification, Dona Ana, NM
La Diócesis de Las Cruces, en respuesta a brindar hospitalidad a los refugiados, quienes salieron de la inmigracion a las comunidades del sur de Nuevo México con el fin de hacer la transición a una familia que vive en los Estados Unidos, trabaja en colaboración con Iglesias Catolicas en el área que brindan hospitalidad cristiana a las familias durante su transición a la familia que vive en los Estados Unidos.

Currently are parishes are in need of the following
- New underwear for men, women, boys and girls of all ages
- gently used or new backpacks
- fleece throws
- deoderant for both men and women
Donations can only be dropped off at the pastoral center 1280 Med Park Las Cruces, NM 88005
Monetary donations are also needed to purchase supplies for meals, offset the cost of cell phones for families traveling 3-5 days on a bus and to provide meal money for our travelers. Donations can be made by clicking the link below.
Volunteers are also needed in Las Cruces. If you would like to volunteer please click the link below. All volunteers are required to take the Virtus workshop and submit a background check prior to working with our families. To register for the workshop and submit your background check please click on the link below.
Once you have completed the class and submitted the workshop you can register as a volunteer and begin receiving emails to help out on a weekly basis. Click the link below to register as a volunteer once you have completed Virtus.
